No. We are not a pharmacy. In a situation where your pet MUST take the medication at all times, like seizure medication, heart medication, or insulin, a medication may be filled upon examination by our emergency veterinarian. The original medication bottle would need to be brought in with the patient.
The Emergency Exam and Consultation Fee is $114. A Specialty Consultation (surgery, neurology, internal medicine, avian & exotic medicine or rehabilitation) is $130. The consultation prices of our visiting specialists (cardiology) vary. Please call for more details about our visiting specialists. An in-depth treatment plan will be provided after the physical examination of your pet. Rehabilitation consultations also include your first rehab session and boarding for the day.
Not directly, we are a privately owned practice. In emergency and specialty care situations, we partner with your veterinarian to provide the most comprehensive care for your pet. We do not have direct access to your pet’s records from your primary care veterinarian.
Just like the human emergency room, we never know what to expect. We do our very best to ensure wait times are minimal, however, care is given in order of urgency. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
